INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Price Waicukauski Joven & Catlin, LLC is proud to announce the selection of Ron Waicukauski for the Indiana Lawyer 2016 Leadership in Law Distinguished Barrister Award.
The Indiana Lawyer receives many impressive nominations for the Distinguished Barrister Award from attorneys, law firms and legal organizations throughout the state. Each year, the Indiana Lawyer honors 15 Distinguished Barristers, who have been in practice for at least 20 years.
Criteria considered for the Distinguished Barrister Award includes mentoring other lawyers, involvement in legal and community organizations and the impact made through their law practice on the community.
Ron is a principal member and an active trial lawyer at the Indianapolis based plaintiffs’ litigation firm, Price Waicukauski Joven & Catlin, LLC. His practice focuses on plaintiffs’ complex litigation. He has tried more than seventy jury cases to verdict as lead counsel in both state and federal courts.
In February 2015, Ron was lead counsel for a class of approximately 3,500 plaintiffs in a federal jury trial on a claim of unjust enrichment, resulting in a $79 million verdict. Later, in the fall of 2015, Ron represented a family in a federal civil rights case that resulted in a $31 million verdict.
The Indiana Lawyer Distinguished Barrister Award recipients will be recognized in the Indiana Lawyer newspaper as well as the annual Leadership in Law reception May 10, 2016.
